A Benefit Corporation

Aware of its role and relative responsibilities, L’Operosa S.p.A. has chosen to embrace the Benefit Corporation model, enhancing its mission with a real commitment to generating social, environmental and economic value.

This status was voluntarily adopted in 2023, incorporating the pursuit of common benefit goals into its articles of association, in a manner that complements and includes the profitability of its business activities.

This choice is part of the regulatory framework defined by Law No. 208 of 28 December 2015, which introduced a new business model in Italy that is capable of combining economic competitiveness and a positive impact on the general public.

In compliance with the Benefit Corporation model, L’Operosa strategically orients its activities towards the common good, coordinating corporate interests with those of people, territories and the environment.
This development represents a formal, measurable, and binding commitment, confirming the company’s desire to work in a transparent and responsible manner with all stakeholders.

L’Operosa considers transparency to be a mainstay of its work.
For this reason, it publishes the Impact Report every year, which is a monitoring, communication and reporting tool that clearly and measurably describes the value generated beyond profit, for the benefit of the people, communities and the environment.

Membership in Assobenefit

In 2025, L’Operosa decided to become a member of Assobenefit, the National Association of Benefit Corporations, the first and only organization in Italy dedicated to promoting and consolidating this new business model.

Becoming a member is a natural and logical step along this path taken by the company, with the objective of strengthening its commitment to making a positive impact and actively participating in a network of companies that share the same values.

WHISTLEBLOWING (Decreto Legislativo 24/23)

In conformità al Decreto Legislativo 24/23, che è entrato in vigore di recente e che ha lo scopo di promuovere la trasparenza, la responsabilità e la tutela dei whistleblower, ovvero coloro che denunciano attività illegali o scorrette all’interno dell’azienda, L’OPEROSA ha attivato il canale di segnalazione interno, accessibile a tutti i dipendenti che consente di segnalare presunte violazioni o comportamenti illeciti in azienda, ed è stato progettato per garantire la riservatezza e la protezione dell’identità del segnalante, nonché dei soggetti coinvolti nella segnalazione, in caso si verifichino determinate circostanze.È importante sottolineare che L’OPEROSA si impegna a garantire la riservatezza e la protezione dei whistleblower che decidono di segnalare presunte violazioni, con misure di protezione contro eventuali ritorsioni dirette o indirette verso i segnalanti, in conformità della normativa stessa.

WHISTLEBLOWING (Italian Legislative Decree 24/23)

In compliance with Italian Legislative Decree 24/23, which recently came into force and the purpose of which is to promote transparency, responsibility and protect whistleblowers, i.e. the people who report unlawful activities or malpractices within a company, L’OPEROSA has set up an internal reporting channel, accessible to all employees, which allows them to report alleged breaches or unlawful conduct in the company, and which has been designed to protect the identity of the whistleblower and all people involved in the whistleblowing report, if certain circumstances occur. It is important to note that L’OPEROSA guarantees the confidentiality and protection of whistleblowers who decide to report alleged breaches, through measures that protect them from any direct or indirect retaliation, in compliance with the Decree.
